Mr. JOSEPH GORDON (Retired)

Mr. Joseph Gordon was the Director for the AF Technology Transfer & Transition Program. He is responsible for linking technology and the Air Force mission with the marketplace by ensuring that Air Force science and engineering activities are transferred or shared with state and local governments, academia and industry.  The exchange of knowledge, expertise, equipment, and testing facilities leverages the Department of Defense research and development investments.

Sophia Gordon is the owner of a healthcare consulting firm. She believes in the powers of prayers,
putting God first, and stepping out of faith!
Sophia believes in making the lives of the elderly better. She often states, “ if we would be so blessed to
live so long.” She works diligently to educate bedside caregivers to give the best possible care and
remind them that residents are not widgets, they are fragile and they come with feelings, baggage’s and
deserves our love. She has dedicated over 30 years to caring for others.
Sophia is a graduate of The High School of Health Profession, now known as The Dr Debakey hs, this
exposed her to the multifaceted healthcare field. She received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from
Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from the
University of Central Michigan.
She is a mother to two wonderful young adults and has been married to Joseph for over 30 years.

MASTER OF ARMS

Bevolyn Johnson has a wealth of experience and expertise in management, leadership, building and
improving learning institutions; educationa program development; child and and underserved youth
advocacy in private and public schools, local communities, and Church volunteerism in Jamaica, USA,
and Canada. She holds a BBA in business Administration and Accounting, a Med in Mathematics
Education , curriculum development and leadership from the University of Houston- University Park,
TX, USA, as well as other post graduate leadership certificates.

​MRS. ARLENE PORCHE'

Mrs. Porche' is a graduate of Texas A&M University and is Director of Operations of Generator Industries in Houston, Texas. During her tenure, the company has grown in revenue and expanded its core focus of sales to now include consulting. Along with her professional success, Arlene leaves an impact on her community as an active volunteer and board member of various organizations.  In addition to professional success, Mrs. Porche is a mother and a wife and the proud daughter of Bevolyn and Orlando Johnson, members of our Peckham community.
